Automatic flight logging from ADS-B

If your aircraft has an ADS-B Out transponder — and in most airspace, it's required — SquawkFree detects your flights automatically. A daily sync picks up new flights and creates pending entries with departure, destination, route, and duration already filled in. No extra hardware, no manual entry. Review the import, add your tach and hobbs readings, and accept.

Pattern work is handled correctly. Four touch-and-goes at your home field show up as one flight with four landings counted — not four separate entries cluttering your log. Diversions and multi-leg flights are separated and labeled with the airports you actually visited.

Without the add-on, you still get unlimited manual flight logging on any plan.

For recurring ADs, set the interval — say 500 hours— and SquawkFree reads your current tach total from your latest flight log entry. It tells you exactly how many hours remain and flags the AD on your dashboard when it's approaching. No spreadsheet, no guessing.

Photograph your logbook pages, upload them, and our team runs OCR followed by human verification of every single entry. Not a bulk scan you have to proofread yourself — each date, description, tach reading, and sign-off is individually checked and linked to your aircraft record as structured data.
